After pregnancy, the hormone changes again – resulting in hair loss. This process is not nice, but reversible. This means that the hair loss usually recovers in the course of a year after the pregnancy.

A lot of estrogen during pregnancy – a little later

Probably the most common cause of hair loss after pregnancy is the sudden drop in estrogen levels, which rises sharply during pregnancy. The female sex hormone ensures a full head of hair, since the thrust of estrogen more hair than usual in the growth phase are held.
